One of my favorite things about our new house is that even though we are able to have our own space, we're only a few houses away from my parents. This means we get to see them on an almost a daily basis. In fact, since my mom has so many piano students, and since she goes to their houses, my dad comes over for dinner every night so he doesn't have to eat alone. The girls were very excited that we got to make his birthday dinner...
They helped me decorate and were really cute as they directed me where to hang each balloon so that grandpa would be able to see it best. They hung up a big banner that said happy birthday. AND, they made Grandpa wear a fuzzy purple birthday hat :)
