My CRAZY (wonderful) Mom!

My brother is about to graduate from Pharmacy School.  Unfortunately there were no full-time pharmacist jobs to be found in Utah-- so, he is moving his family to Texas this summer. They needed to go down to find a place to live.  My mom had scheduled her vacation the week and a half before Easter, so she said she would take the kids half the week, and Julie's mom took the other half.

One of the things my mom enjoys doing is taking our kids for a day or two to give us a couple of days off and some time together.  Since she was going to take Jeff's kids anyway, she told me she was taking ours for the weekend so we could celebrate our anniversary.  It was a week early, but really, when we're talking about two days without kids- does early matter?  ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!  :)

My mom figured since she had most of the kids anyway, she might as well take Jana's kids too.  That meant that once we dropped our kids off, she was taking care of 11 grandkids.  11 grandkids!!! Meagan, the oldest, just turned twelve.  Rachael is 9, Cameron is 7.  Alix just turned 6 and Ashlee will too next week.  Katie is 4, Miriam and Bethany are 3 1/2.  Now for the really crazy stuff-- Jonathan is 19 months, McKay is two weeks younger, and then Emily is 17 months old.  Are you ready to admit her to the psych ward yet?  Just wait til I tell you she took them all to church on Sunday!  Okay now I do need to mention that my Dad was there too, and that he did help.  But we all know who did most the work right?  I am so glad my mom is nuts and that she is willing to sacrifice a little of her sanity to help me maintain mine :)
