Tim's birthday

Tim's birthday fell on Sunday this year, on the same weekend as "the goon" and the parade...so he wanted to stay home and keep it pretty low key.  The girls made him some presents while he took a nap after church and then his parents came over for cake and icecream.  Some of our best friends just went to Germany at the beginning of the summer, so I asked them to bring back a special hat for Tim's birthday.  This is a traditional hat that would normally be worn with leiderhosen.  Tim grew up going to Oktoberfest each year with his Oma and Opa.  He has told me many times that he wants a hat and leiderhosen, but that they are super expensive to buy them here.  So- I surprised him by hacing Max and Dianna bring one back for him...
