Only one usterus....

I am kind of playing catch up here, and I am not neccesarily going to go in order....

Alix had her 4 year old check up on Tuesday, the 12th. My mom took the other girls, so we were able to make it a mommy-daughter date. Trust me, at this point, even a doctor's appointment counts. We don't get out very often without other attachments :) We ended up waiting forever due to a scheduling issue, but Alix had a great time playing in the waiting room, and it was actually kind of a nice break for me. We had fun doing the developmental screening test. It was WAY better than the ones I have to do with the twins. Alix was drawing pictures, hopping around on one foot, etc. The only problem came when they said we did have to do shots.... not a pretty picture. Alix actually broke the watch one of the nurses was wearing as she thrashed around trying to avoid the needles.... (for a reminder of how Alix feels about shots ....)

Afterwards we went to Applebee's for lunch (her choice, not mine) and Tim was able to join us. It was really fun for all of us to spend some alone time together.

One of the funny things from the screening was the question that asked for her to draw a person. She drew me apparently, since the parts she labeled for me included my head, body, arms, legs, and usterus. :) She asked, "mommy, do you only have one usterus? Even though you had more than one baby? So was I hooked to the same usterus the baby is?" It was a funny conversation.
